Who makes a prime candidate for a face lift?

If you are a man or woman who has excess skin on the neck and face (also known as jowls) from aging or weight loss, you are a prime candidate for facial surgery. You may also want to consider a face lift combined with a facial rejuvenation treatment to achieve maximum results. Can I combine eye rejuvenation with my facelift surgery?

Many times the best facelift results are seen when these two procedures are undergone at the same time, resulting in an complete facial make-over. During your consultation appointment you will be given information on the best surgery or surgery combinations for your individual needs. Your surgeon will give you materials on some of our other great procedures such as offer eyelid surgery, eye bag removal or brow lift.

Will my facial rejuvenation result in facial scarring?

If you are going to be undergoing eye rejuvenation you can expect an incision near the natural crease of your eyelid. During your facelift the incisions will be made in the natural crease lines of the face, hair line, and ears. Any scarring that is experienced as a result of your surgery will fade within a years’ time. See the photos below for examples.

Will this surgery get rid of the wrinkles forever?

While attending your consultation appointment, your surgeon will give you information as to which parts of the face will continue to age. Keep in mind that the natural aging process will not cease after this surgery. There are however treatments to aid in keeping your youthful appearance such as BOTOX® anti-wrinkle treatment and Juvéderm ULTRA® dermal fillers . These treatments are offered in all of our clinics.
