Liposculpture

The phrase "liposculpture" was coined in the early 1990s being defined as a suction lipectomy targeting body shaping procedure versus liposuction which is a more regional shaping procedure. This technique includes the so called "Six Pack Abs" or abdominal etching where meticulous liposuction used used to detail the fat over abdominal musculature to mimic the rectus muscle separations. The suction lipectomy is performed to enhance and deepen the natural grooves or furrows of the abdominal wall musculature underlying the skin.
The Hospital Group specifically uses VASER Hi Definition Liposculpture making the superficial lipectomy technique more efficient and reproducible. Furthermore, patients experience less pain and recover faster than traditional liposuction. Futhermore, intramusculature autologous fat transfers can be performed to areas that need more volume such as the pectoralis muscle or the gluteal region.
Before and After

Information on Liposculpture Fat Removal
This type of cosmetic surgery starts with the insertion of a Cannula, which is a small tube used to suck and shape the fat cells. Through a small incision in the skin the fat is then drawn through the tube leaving areas of reduced surface fat and smoother skin. This procedure is conducted a under General Anesthetic for ease of the surgeon and comfort of the patient.
